After releasing their debut EP "Tre Danser" in 2022, the folk rock band Gangar finally follows up with their anticipated debut album "Stubb" on September 29th. The album title is taken from their former band name: Gangarstubbgutta. The album is a result of several years of hard and detailed work. "Stubb" is a collection of the repertoire the group has worked on and performed in recent years, with to guest appearances from top performers and close friends in the Norwegian folk music scene.

Gangar combines folk music with jazz, metal, and rock in the most natural way. They find old traditional tunes in folk music archives and arrange them with inspiration from bands such as Hoven Droven, AC/DC and Meshuggah.
